Telephone Manager Initialization Functions

Creating, Initializing, and Validating a Telephone Record

This section describes the functions you can use to create a telephone record so that the Telephone Manager can establish contact with a given telephone tool and determine which features its associated telephone terminal supports. You need to create a telephone record for each telephone terminal that your application accesses. This section also describes the functions you can use to initialize and validate these telephone records so that they properly reflect the capabilities of the telephone terminal.

Note
All of the functions needed to create a telephone record, fill in the configuration fields, and validate the entries are automatically invoked when a telephone tool is configured through the TELChoose function. However, you first need to create a new record using the TELNewWithResult function to initialize the record structure before performing the configuration.
